STEEL AND POWDER COAT TO STAND UP FOR LIFE
The Dead Pedal is cut from cold rolled steel and the divots are done on a 4 ton press. Then, we hit it with a specialized traction powder coat so that it never scratches and you never slip.
Why cold rolled steel? Cold rolled steel is made using a rolling process at temperatures that are close to room temperature. This increases the strength of the finished product through the use of strain hardening by as much as 20 percent.
